ANGELS & AIRWAVES: SPELLBOUND

Video of Laser Banding effects I created for Angels & Airwaves "Spellbound". In this music video performers are surrounded by ethereal floating walls of hypercolor laser shards. These shards of laser light were created using a technique I created called Laser Banding. Laser Banding is a practical effect where lasers are programmed to defy gravity and float in camera, without CGI. Tom Delonge directed this video and captured the mood of the Laser Banding effects perfectly. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed designing lasers for it - this is one of my favorite projects.
